A Robust Theater Program
Our theater program combines the drive for excellence with a fun and process-oriented approach. Whether you’re just beginning to explore opportunities on the stage or are hoping to pursue theater in college or as a career, you will find a home in the Flickinger Arts Center.
Academic coursework in acting, musical theater, directing, and stagecraft complements our extra-curricular program that features two main stage productions each year, and many smaller-scale opportunities.

Mainstage Productions

Nearby, Dartmouth College’s Hopkins Center for the Arts and Northern Stage present world-class performances available to students on a weekly basis. Annual theater trips to New York City also increase student exposure to professional theater. -
KUA on Tour
Students participating in the winter musical have taken the show on an international tour to locations including England, India, and New Zealand. -
Technical Theater
Behind-the-scenes elements help make productions come alive. In technical theater, our primary objective is to expose students to the tools, tactics, and procedures used in professional theaters. Students are empowered to construct sets from scratch, hang, wire, and operate lighting and sound, and ultimately run live shows using the latest technology. Whether learning the basics or dedicating one’s future to technical theater, we offer experience for all levels.
