Through a college-directed core curriculum with a wide range of advanced placement classes, our academic program is designed to prepare you for success in college and beyond. The foundation of your academic experience will center around critical thinking and the development of effective analytical writing skills.
Small classes ensure personal attention and engagement in subject matter. Our faculty will challenge and inspire you to reach your potential. Although you will be taught as an individual, positive collaboration with peers and teachers is essential to KUA’s learning process as it is life outside the classroom.

Graduation Requirements
Each student must accumulate 19 credits in order to be a candidate for graduation. In addition, seniors are required to earn a passing grade in each of their courses to qualify for graduation. Specific course requirements are below and constitute 17 credits of the 19 needed for graduation. The remaining two credits must be earned in advanced level courses in two departments.
Each year, all students must carry at least five year-long core classes.

At least 1 credit and 3 art classes from at least two of the four categories: dance, music, theater, and visual arts
